Carnaval 2010- World Carnival Dates, Schedules and Information

The results of the Rio Carnival 2010 samba schools parade showed significant successes and disappointments when looked at the scores table. As a great success story, last years number 9 Unidos de Tijuca, took the championship this year with great improvement.

On the disappointment side was last years number 1 Salgueira which was only 5th this year and Viradouro which took the last place this year.

Coming up in Rio carnival 2010 schedule, on 20 February at 21h local time, it will be the Parade of Champions of the Rio Carnival 2010 in the Sambodrome

Unidos da Tijuca, 1st place, Great River, 2; Hummingbird, 3; Vila Izabel, 4; Salgueiro, 5 and Mangueira, 6, will the Sambódromo rhythm of celebration and joy.

The Viradouro, Niterói, because they took the last place, they will not participate in the carnival of 2011 in the Special Group and was replaced by Clement, who won the Access Group.

Votes are counted for the parades of the Special Carnival in Rio de Janeiro 2010.

The school champion this year was the Unidos da Tijuca, with the plot that talked about the Secret. The second place went to the Rio Grande

The vote that started very disputed, had Mangueira in the emerging leadership isolated from a question on Harmony. Nevertheless, when it came to the item set the school was eventually defeated by the Unidos da Tijuca and Beija-Flor.

But when it came to the item in allegories and props Beija-Flor ended up with several grades and Unidos da Tijuca took the lead alone.

It is worth remembering that the last title won by the school was still in 1999 by Access Group.

Who should regret the outcome of the carnival is the Viradouro.The school got the last place and is remove to the Access Group at Carnival 2011.

The story talking about Cocoa and Chocolate that Rosas de Ouro presented this year it seems that wowed judges and partygoers of Sao Paulo. The result can be seen in the title of Champion Carnival 2010 in São Paulo that the school has just received.

The determination that was very disputed and was not defined in the last issue, where a difference of 0.25 to Rosas de Ouro overcame the Youth and won.

The final result was then Rosas de Ouro become Champion, as Youth second and Go-Go in third place.
