The Exciting Caribbean Days Festival

The BC’s Tobago & Trinidad Cultural Society every July celebrates the Caribbean Festival. This celebration attracts many who are fun lovers the Waterfront Park of North Vancouver where they celebrate the weekend with dancing, dining, and parading in the sunshine.

They shall organize the celebration of the festival this year on the 24th & 25th of July, 2010. Those who are a part of the festival enjoy the days with cuisines, and rhythm of the tropical. Caribbean’s can offer only culture and Carnival. They have grown over the years in terms of it popularity and celebration fever. They have become one of the largest attractors of the Carnival, with fun filled moments.

Here are lists of the events they offer during the carnival week.

• Street Parade Multicultural

• The Main Stage

• Food Fair which is International

• Clothing and Arts Market

• Outdoor Waterfront Dance

The Carnival of Santa Cruz de Tenerife

Santa Cruz de Tenerife is a one of its kind Carnival in the entire world. This magnificent Carnival is hosted by the Capital of the Canary Islands i.e. the Santa Cruz de Tenerife, attracting visitors from all over the world. It is one of the finest and most popular Carnivals to be recorded in the history of Carnivals.

In 1980 it was acknowledged Carnival Tourist International awareness, by the Secretariat of State for the sightseeing and it is one of the mainly significant carnivals of the planet. Santa Cruz de Tenerife Carnival now seeks to develop into a World Heritage Place. This statement by UNESCO will, come about, further encourage international Santa Cruz de Tenerife, to become the initial Carnival to get this acknowledgment, in Spain for its enduring in time and it would achieve the other 5 continents by UNESCO.

The St. Vincent & Grenadines carnival "The Vincy Mas"

The 12 days from June 25 to July 6 are the days that take the entire country towards the passion of carnival. Catch the streets with competitions and concerts, music, Soca, food, Steel bands, and all the fun times, moreover, the entire theme is based on the cultural pride and its historical pride. There is a fun blast all over, and there is something for everyone, the families and friends wait eagerly for these days.

You might get to witness the varied street parades, with different costumes, shows like Queen and King of the bands, beauty shows for Miss Carnival, etc. The Most massive Carnival is the Vincy Mas – on the 6th & 7th July, on St. Vincent, i.e on the Monday and the Tuesday. These Days are not only for the children and the young, but for all who wish to enjoy the liveliness they have been long waiting for.

Not just for the residents of the place but also for the visitors who come from far also, to celebrate the day. If you are planning to be a part of a carnival then this is just one good idea to go in for.
