Antilliaanse Caribbean Festival- one event that will surely sizzle all your senses

Carnivals are the perfect way to forget everything and just immerse oneself in the limitless sea of dancing and music. The Antilliaanse Caribbean Festival is one event that has been helping in bringing the Caribbean magic in the Belgium. Each year the tiny town of Hoogstraaten, turns into a paradise for a weekend with carnival fever engulfing everyone. The event is held on a weekend and this time the magic spreads from Fri 13th Aug 2010 – through Sat 14th Aug 2010. The event thoroughly sums up the best of African culture with the indigenous European flavor.

Thousands dance their way through the night and gather to party in the best way. Delicious cigars, champagne bars and cocktails keep the party alive for all the couples dancing on the vibrant music from bands from all over. This year the party only, get hotter with best artistes like Mr. Vegas, LOS 4, Michel Batista, Calle 13 and many more rocking performers. The vibrating and the passionate nights associated with the Antilliaanse Caribbean Festival have brought more and more fun lovers who just wish to transport themselves in another world. With so much on their plates, everyone does wish that the event lasted more than just 2 days. However, if you still miss this year the wait will sure be more than you anticipate.

Fun filled carnival, the one and only St Lucia Carnival 2010

St. Lucia along the side of Jazz celebrates one such exciting festival called the carnival. This carnival at the St. Lucia includes performances by the much famous local and the mass bands and the calypso and soca singers etc. the time of the carnival yearly is the May 30th to the July 20th of the year 2010.

This carnival is usually celebrated in June. This starts the very beginning of the carnival preparations, different costumes are a great excitement of the entire show. Soca artists and local calypsos are busy preparing to participate for different competitions at the carnival.

The time pick of the famous and much loved carnival is on Monday as well as Tuesday. This is particularly on the nineteen and twenty of July. There are many a competitions that are at a high during the carnival period. The beauty queen competition calypso and soca monarch are a big hit.

Voodoo Experience- A musical experience to bestow all your senses

Musical celebrations in any part of the world attract millions from every part of the globe, but the one event that definitely needs special mention is the Voodoo Experience. The 3-day American festival is set to rock New Orleans and millions from the planet from October 29 to October 31, 2010. There is no one in the world who party like Cubans and the merry time is back again with the grand Cuba carnival which would last for 3 days. Dia De la rebel dia Nacional is the national festival of Cuba and is celebrated on July 26 each year. The carnival adds more merrymaking to the holiday and the is held on July 25- July 27. The preparations begin well in advance with placards, posters and banners announcing the onset of the good times to come.

After the political speeches and parades fun and frolic takes over the town and all comes out to indulge in street parties and the endless concerts. Santiago de Cuba is where the best and biggest celebrations are held and being the oldest, it holds dear to the adventurous Cubans. When you are here for the carnival, you can be sure that your glass of beer will not be empty as every street and corner literally transforms into a beer island during the carnival. Street performances, vibrant parades along with thumping music do keep the party going non- stop for all. If you still miss at Santiago, you get a chance to catch up all the fun with Habana hip-hop held in Havana in August.
