It is none other than an impartial raffle which decides the Parading order. Going on the same traditional trend, the guests, samba school representative, the press and LEISA organizers gathered at the Samba City amphitheater. It was organized in order to attend the drawing of different schools in 2012 parading order, in July. The parade regulations allow the Access Group winner to open the Special Group’s Sunday show. Sao Clemento, the last year’s weakest school will be parading first on Monday. It is always kept in mind that best schools of Samba should not parade on the same single day to retain the fun, adventure and entertainment.

That is why the remaining schools are divided into equal pairs in the lottery. This is done in order to balance the show and parades between the best schools on Sunday and Monday. For the first time, the day is defined by the raffle. After this, the same little balls are drawn once more by chance. It will give a pre-final parade order to the specific samba school. If the samba schools are interested, the same night may witness the change for another time. In other words, it is the perfect combination of negotiations and little bit of luck which defines the final parading order for the day.
