St Vincent Carnival Kingstown, also known as Vinci Mas Carnival will start from on 25th June and will last up to 6th July 2010. Anthony Dennie, the Coordinator of Carnival Development Corporation (CDC), stated and ensured in a news conference that this carnival will be the hottest and splendid one in the Caribbean.
St Vincent Carnival is an aesthetic and elegant blend of European, African, Carribean and local folk like other West Indian Carnivals. It is a fantastic and exciting season when the general folk joins in the festivity of Vincentian crafts, talent, artistic works in a variety of forms like masquerade, soca, steel pan music and calypso. 
Vinci Mas Carnival is popular not just only as a cultural event, but more of the major money earner event. Thousands of tourists as well as Vincentians based at overseas are fascinated to this festival and love to participate in it. Vincy Mas has become one of the the major contributor in the country’s treasure.
