One of the most colorful and lively festival of the world is the Honolulu festival. It is a premier cultural event of Hawaii and a means of promoting economy, understanding and ethnic harmony in the region. The festival is an out of the world experience for the thousands of spectators, old as well as new. It is sponsored by The Honolulu Festival Foundation and is an integration of Hawaiian, Pacific and Asian cultures.

The festival is a three day weekend extravaganza which takes place in March every year. Artisans perform dances, demonstrations of traditional art of countries like Australia, Philippines, Japan, Tahiti, Korea, Taiwan, Hawaii and United States. A spectacular parade in street of Waikiki, Hawaii is the highlight of the festival.

Entry to the festival activities is free and held at different locations of the city ensuring easy access to all. The festival has become an epitome of Pacific Harmony. The 16th Annual festival of Honolulu was held on 12th-14th March 2010 at Honolulu, Hawaii. This wonderful event of Pacific Harmony can be experienced again next year at the 17th Annual festival of Honolulu. People can mark their colanders so that they do not miss this spectacular event.
