It’s vibrant, colorful, and loads of exciting stuff all over. Cayman Carnival Batabano has become a highlight of entertainment in the calendar of Cayman, since 1983. For the ones who don’t know, Batabano is a cultural kaleidoscope of dance, music, and pageantry held on 29 April to 1 May, symbolizing Caribbean, nations that live in Cayman. Something for the kids, junior Batabano parade held on the Saturday, 24 April, what fun for kids; they receive permission from the Education Department.

Some of the exciting features of the carnival are the International Appleton Cocktail Competition held on Thursday, 29 April, winner of the competition, will be the barmen who makes the best cocktail using Appleton rum., followed by arts and crafts on 1 May, with some exclusive international cosines.
The fun does not end here, there’s a lot more to add the big fun time this year, the famous Swanky International float, and something that will take the crowds breath away, yes the “Mas Band” loads of dance and music for masquerades.
