The main focal point of this carnival is celebrating womanhood and value of family. The newlywed brides are very thrilled to be a part of this beautiful carnival where they have an extravagant arrangement of cakes, décor, wines and flowers. The visitors are also welcomed to join these amazing women who proudly walk down the streets with white and traditional wedding gowns on this day. Wedding cake and bakery products are the local favorites for filling our taste buds. Along with the brides are various bands that play music and cherish every one with romantic songs and tunes.
These beauties are at their best with makeup, veil, flower bouquets with them, adorning necklaces and accessories to snatch the Best Bride title. The winner of this Parade of the bride gets a prize and lots of praises by the sponsors and visitors. Carnival of cultures or much popularly known as Berlin’s Karneval der Kulturen is celebrated with utmost joy and thrill in Kreuzberg district of Berlin. This annual summer carnival has been successfully running for about 10 years in row, this year it happens between June 10th and June 13th 2011. The nest major attraction of this carnival is definitely the Battle of Drums. As the name suggest it is mega event that brings more than hundreds of brass band players and percussionist. In this event four different groups of Brass bands start from 4 various locations of the city and finally collect at a pre destined location where they play and battle to win the contest. 
The summer carnival in Rotterdam ends with a parade ad big street procession in which the visitors and the contestants all come together with dance music fun enjoyment with beats of cultural and Latin music playing in background.
