The beer festival Oktoberfest has got the top priority over any other events and festivals in Germany and is famous worldwide. This year it shall begin on September 18 and last till October 4. This is widely popular and is celebrated with huge enthusiasm and zest having electrifying atmosphere all around in Munich Germany.
In the olden times of this festival, horse race used to be the most important feature of this festival but later on owing some problems, this event was eradicated. However in 2010, one more additional event has been added in this fest which is known as agricultural event. The purpose of including this event is to promote the agricultural pattern of Bavaria.
This festival includes events such as dancing, singing, some sort of laughter along with some clattering of world famous beers across the fixed table. In the initial days, this event achieved mediocre success and popularity however over time, its success bar went on and on and today the situation is such that more than five millions peoples across the world pay their visit in this festival and also most of them participate in numbers of events.
It might be a thinking of common people that this festival as the name suggests, goes on during the month of October however it begins in the mid of September and faintly touches the month of October.
