The Electrifying and Sizzling Annual DC Caribbean carnival

The DC Caribbean carnival is a yearly Caribbean style festival and parade organized by a non-profit organization namely DC Caribbean Carnival inc. based in the Columbia District, Washington. The basic aim of this sparkling event is to showcase the features of the Caribbean clearly to the DC district, thereby giving a boost to the cross-cultural apprehension and perceptiveness. Along with this it also aims at educating adults and youths in various creations like crafts, arts and culture. 
It is especially designed to bring the caribbean community in concert. For fulfilling this aim the organizations and businesses from the local area are also supporting it whole heartedly. Local organizations are promoted more for getting help in this enthralling regarding funding, drink, craft etc. The DC Caribbean carnival parade is an electrifying and colorful event full of music, good times, enjoyment and thrill.
Dates & Location of DC Caribbean Carnival
This carnival is going to be organizaed in the end of June 2010. The parade will begin from Missouri Avenue and will end at “DE SAVANNAH” (an international marketplace).

Festival: 26-June-2010 and 26-June-2010, 12-7 p.m.
