Carnaval 2010- World Carnival Dates, Schedules and Information

New York Labor Day, Carnival is going to be celebrated there in September. This time it is going to be celebrated on 5th September, as there has been holiday in the US and celebrating Labor Day gives tribute to workers, as it has been considered the blast for summer season in which it will be full of fun along with many events.

As Labor Day is celebrated from 1st to 5th September, all these 5 days are full with enjoyment and fun. Different places in Washington area are organizing different things for this special event. Visitors can take the benefits of free concert which is organized by the National Symphony orchestra. There are more than 25 companies who are being hosted by the Kennedy center for rehearsals of play along with music.

In Gaylord national resort, visitors will come across with 50 bands which is from all over the world, gathers all the people tighter for fun, love and enjoyment. In Spanish ballroom, you will enjoy Labor Day art show in which you will come across the work of artists in their paintings; glass work along with jewellery visitors can also enjoy their street parade with music, dance, arts and food along with kid’s activities.

The 43rd annual New York Labor day carnival, which is the biggest cultural festivals of the New York City, will be held from 2nd to 6th Sept, 2010. It is a West Indian carnival festival. Some of the events which will be held are – the Benefit concert for Haiti will be held on 2nd Sept. It’s a great music show.

On Sept 3rd, Stay in School concert will be held. Its main features are dance, hip-hop, Steel Pan, Karate, Spoken Word, Fashion show and much more. On 4th Sept, there will be Junior Carnival. The parade will be held from 9 am to 3 pm. On 5th Sept, there will be Dimanche Gras from 7-1 am. Its main features are Stilt Walkers, King and Queen Band competition, Rhythm Masters, Kambule Calypso show.

On 6th Sept, there will be carnival where there will be a parade of bands from 11 am to 6 pm. The parade will start from Eastern Parkway and end on Flatbush Avenue. The main features will be costume bands, masqueraders and also moko jumbies, floats and much more. Alcoholic beverages are not allowed in the parade.

The 2009 New York Labor Day carnival is attracting millions, with all joining in to be a part of this 42nd colorful extravaganza. The music and fun not seems to stop with the electrifying performances. The Brass fest at the Brooklyn museum on September 4th at 8 PM in the evening featured HD & the HD family, Machel Montano, Fayann Lyons & the Asylum Band including many more thrilled every single person present on the venue.

On Saturday morning-5th September the streets of Brooklyn came alive with the junior carnival at 9:00 am. The children all dressed in Caribbean costumes brought a glimpse of Caribbean right in Crown Heights, Brooklyn. With happy parents cheering them on and the rich Caribbean music in the background it was wonderful weekend morning. The Steel band Panorama event, which took place in the Brooklyn museum on the same night, saw the finest steel band in US filling the atmosphere with their rocking music. For all the thousands of visitors it was a rocking experience

But the excitement does not end here. The celebration continues with the Dimanche Gras at 7 in the evening on 6th September where popular and exciting Caribbean artists like The mighty Sparrows, Tigress and 3 Canal among others will surely swing everyone present .With the great and vibrant parade lined up on Monday-7th September the fun and the memories of this weekend will remain with all the visitors for long.
