There are many aspects which makes the carnival in Rio the best in the world. One of these is the perception of the samba schools which participate in the parade. It is these schools which add excitement and color to the parade. The central area also host carnival shows. The shows for the 2010 carnival will be held at January 10th and January 24th. These shows will feature samba music including the traditional samba music known as pagode. Samba dancers, the flag bearers and the whirling ladies add more glitz to these shows which also have a mini parade.
