The parade rehearsals usually take place on the samba runway which is quite similar to the Samba Parade however, with fewer participants. These parades are often rehearsed without floats and costumes, occurring at all the weekends starting in December.

You can witness the last rehearsal on 12th February from 21:00 to 23:00 hours which will be held on Carnival Sunday. The visitors also prefer to enjoy the 2011 Grand Champion where sound and lights testing are done with the Samba School Beija Flor.

Just after the rehearsal s finished, there is a massive free street party which will be also accompanied with dancing activities and the inclusion of samba music in the party!
