Carnival brings an opportunity for all to come together and enjoy the festivities of life with music, dances and elaborate dazzling costumes. Virgin Islands in United States are sure the most happening place at the time of the carnivals which are organized at the various locations at different time of the year. The European and African costumes along with the best of the calypso music can sure make all forget everything and just engage in all the pleasures of this amazing carnival. The carnival in St. Thomas takes place every year in the month of April and May and is the host to the second largest celebration in Caribbean. The amazing food stall and the joyous ride for the kids make the carnival a family affair for all to enjoy together. The month long carnival has many events which include the pageantry, steel bands and colorful floats.

St. John hosts the carnival in June and July and continues the carnival fever with food fair, fireworks and parades. The parade on 4th July usually marks the end of this month long celebration. The carnival at st. Croix is held in the month of December and January and includes horse races among the usual activities. The adult’s parade is also entertaining with Latin music and calypso shows. Virgin Islands are the most happening place during the carnival and with the carnival at st. Croix near, it is one place that should not be missed.
