This year, the biggest festival on St Maarten celebrated their 41th anniversary. As usual, this year’s carnival at St Maarten was little bit different and also more stunning than used to be ever. Each and every event included in this carnival took place at Phillipsburg which is renowned by the name festival village and is located right beside to the St marten University.
This year, this event lasted for 19 days which were electrifying and full of merriment and joyful atmosphere scattered at every corner. Numbers of events took place amongst which the parades as usual has been the most catching one along with some concerts shows, competitions and also some road events which also cannot be kept aside in this race.
This festival started at 8 PM on the scheduled date. On the very first day of this carnival, three significant events took place and these are Latin Nights, Soca explosion and also the Band-o-rama night. On 30th of April, majestic parade conducted which acted as the best part of this carnival. Numbers of cultural and traditional events across the planet were integrated in this Grand parade which originated at the Bush road and terminated at the carnival Village.
